Dr. Hur is deeply passionate about enhancing the effectiveness and impact of educational programs and grant projects through comprehensive evaluations. His research focuses on building evaluation capacity within the agriculture workforce, developing standardized and innovative evaluation measurements, and applying AI in evaluation.
He has an extensive array of experience in evaluation, including the evaluation of grant projects funded by federal agencies such as the National Science Foundation (NSF), the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), in addition to projects funded by state agencies. Furthermore, his work focuses on the evaluation of faculty members' Extension programs utilizing a mixed-methods approach.
