Why Visit ALCE?

Located in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, our department offers interdisciplinary programs that blend agricultural sciences with leadership and community education. Our bachelor’s degrees in both Teaching and Learning in Agriculture and Community and Leadership Development prepare students for diverse careers in education, Extension, nonprofit organizations, and governmental agencies. Our master’s degree in Agricultural and Extension Education, and our doctoral degree in Life Sciences Agricultural Education encompass various interests, subjects, and disciplines. Through hands-on experiences, internships, and community engagement, our students are equipped to address the evolving challenges of today’s agricultural and food systems.
